The event “Arte in Villa - Artists between Monte Grappa, Brenta, and Piave – Emotions and colors of our territory” reaches its VII edition, an art exhibition promoted and organized by the Municipality of San Zenone degli Ezzelini in collaboration with the Pro Loco APS Association and the municipalities of Altivole, Asolo, Borso del Grappa, Castelcucco, Cavaso del Tomba, Fonte, Maser, Monfumo, Mussolente, Pieve del Grappa, Possagno, and Romano d’Ezzelino.
At the collective art exhibition, some local artists residing in the municipalities that joined the project will display their work at the Villa Marini Rubelli in San Zenone degli Ezzelini.
The image chosen for this edition is a graphic stylization of a sculpture by Piergiorgio Rebesco (1936-2020), exhibited for the occasion in the atrium of the Villa. This choice stems from the desire to pay homage to the San Zenone sculptor, an inspiration for other artists, on the 90th anniversary of his birth.
The depicted subject, a gymnast who frees herself from the ribbons and connections that surround her, thus becomes a symbol of the title of the exhibition: “Dis-connections”.
This term refers to multiple concepts related to artistic expression, particularly the will and ability to detach oneself from standardized, aligned, and pre-packaged models to propose a personal interpretation and vision of the surrounding reality. At the same time, it evokes the desire to escape the constraints imposed by everyday life in order to find one's own serenity and balance in an alternative and salvific space through Art.
During this period, several parallel events will be organized, including a concert, various workshops for adults and children, and a book presentation.
