From 28 March to 20 September 2026, the Le Carceri Museum in Asiago is hosting the exhibition “A History of the Venice Biennale in 100 Posters from the Venice Biennale Historical Archive”, organised by the Municipality in collaboration with La Biennale di Venezia.
The exhibition presents 100 posters, including originals and reproductions, created between 1895 and 2024, offering a chronological journey that traces the evolution of visual communication and graphic design. The posters are showcased as true works of art, capable of interpreting cultural and social changes over the course of more than a century.
The works come from the ASAC and include pieces by leading figures in graphic design and art, such as Marcello Dudovich, Carlo Scarpa, Massimo Vignelli and Milton Glaser.
According to the local council, the exhibition represents an important cultural event for the area, helping to reinforce Asiago’s role as a dynamic and attractive centre, capable of introducing a wide audience to the visual language of the poster.
