Sunday, February 1st at 11:30 AM marks the start of the 73rd edition of the Ceggia Carnival: tradition, celebration, and fun for both young and old.
The event continues on Saturday, February 7th with the suggestive night parade: starting at 6:30 PM, the floats will illuminate the streets with a magical light show, providing the audience with an unforgettable experience filled with colors, music, and a festive atmosphere. The celebration continues on Sunday, February 8th with the traditional Confetti Race. From 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, runners and enthusiasts can test themselves in a 14-kilometer masked running race, combining sport, fun, and carnival spirit. After a week of waiting, the Carnival takes center stage again on Sunday, February 15th with the first daytime parade. At 2:00 PM, the floats will parade through the city streets, showcasing their creativity and craftsmanship to the audience. The grand finale is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17th, on Fat Tuesday. Starting at 2:00 PM, the second daytime parade will close the edition with music, joy, and colors, declaring the winner of this year.
