In collaboration with Tema Cultura and the Municipality of Possagno, theater returns to the splendid garden of Casa Canova for a unique evening dedicated to the dialogue between theater and sculpture.
Young talents from the Treviso area will bring to life a performance that weaves together word, movement, and expressive power, bringing back to the stage those bodies, that tension, and that ideal of beauty that still animate the masterpieces of Antonio Canova.
The protagonist of the evening will be Cinisca, an extraordinary figure of antiquity, a symbol of determination, freedom, and courage: a narrative that invites reflection on the body as a tool of expression, emancipation, and conquest.
Program for the evening: Special opening of the Museum, Guided tour of the permanent collection or the possibility of free visit to the Museum, Cinisca. The Princess Who Spoke to Horses: Cinisca, daughter of Archidamus II, King of Sparta, was the first woman in history to achieve an Olympic victory.
Through theater, dance, and movement, the figure of Cinisca ideally dialogues with the works of Canova, where the body becomes a universal language of energy, balance, and beauty.
