Saturday, May 30, among the larches and pastures of El Brite de Larieto, the Curadizo returns: an ancient gesture of the Ampezzan tradition that tells the deep bond between people, the mountain, and the land that welcomes us every day. A simple yet precious practice, made up of hands at work, respect for the territory, and a spirit of community.
Starting at 8:30 a.m., adults and children will be invited to participate in the cleaning of the pasture that will host the cows during the summer months, sharing an authentic experience immersed in the nature of Cortina d’Ampezzo. At an altitude of 1700 meters, amidst spectacular views and the silence of the Dolomites, El Brite de Larieto has long been a symbol of alpine culture and local farming tradition, enhanced by the cuisine and vision of chef Riccardo Gaspari.
At the end of the morning, there will be a snack and lunch together, to experience the taste of conviviality and things made with care. Those who own a rake are welcome to bring it along; for everyone else, the necessary equipment will be provided.
An open invitation to residents, families, friends, and guests: because caring for the mountain means safeguarding a heritage that belongs to everyone.
