The “Gospel Festival” dedicated to Don Carlo takes the audience through the month of December at the Teatro Sant’Anna in Treviso, offering four evening concerts at 9:00 PM. The initiative, organized by “Gli Alcuni,” confirms the desire to bring to the stage some of the most appreciated gospel groups from the United States, keeping alive a tradition that has characterized the Christmas period for years.

The program opens on Monday, December 15 with the Black Gold, an ensemble formed by vocalists of African American and African origin who intertwine spirituality, energy, and deep roots of gospel music, from work songs to classic spirituals, up to contemporary sounds.

On Wednesday, December 17, the Tony Washington Gospel Singers, a group of seven members that blends African American tradition with modern influences, take the stage. Tony Washington's falsetto voice, combined with R’n’B, rap, and funky sounds, offers a rich experience of dynamism and modernity.

On December 22, it’s the turn of The Real Soul of Gospel, a formation linked to the tradition of the Baptist churches of New Orleans, capable of conveying the authenticity and cultural variety of the city.

The festival concludes on Sunday, December 28 with the Joyful Gospel New Orleans, a group originating from the Crescent City, known for a soul and R&B style that blends original and classic songs infused with intense spirituality.
