The Academia Sodalitas Ecelinorum Association, on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis, invites you to the painting exhibition “Francesco. The places and the creatures” hosted from June 20 to July 5 at Villa Marini Rubelli, located at via Teresa Rubelli 2 in San Zenone degli Ezzelini.
The inauguration is on Saturday, June 20 at 5:00 p.m.
Introducing the event is Fra’ Davide Campisan, a Capuchin friar from the Convent of Sant’Anna in Asolo.
A brief concert will follow featuring the quartet composed of Francisco Ricardo (alto), Martina Pettenon (mezzo-soprano and vielle), Massimo Crivelletto (Renaissance flutes), and Stefano Nicolussi (harp). A final toast will follow.
Extra opening Thursday, June 25 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. before the theatrical performance “Profitable examples of vice and virtue” with Tiziano Scarpa, scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at Villa Marini Rubelli.
The exhibition will also be accompanied by two events:
Friday, July 3 at 8:30 p.m. at Villa Marini Rubelli - Medieval dinner “in the time of St. Francis,” an evening of flavors from other times accompanied by music, dances, and juggling performances.
Saturday, July 4 at 9:00 p.m. at the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Salute (Red Church) on Colle Castellaro, a historical-theatrical show titled “Francesco. The Saint of 1200” directed by Bepi Frison will take place.
