Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28, 2025, Treviso participates in the European Heritage Days. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Treviso and involves the main cultural entities of the city, such as the Civic Museums, the IAT Treviso center, the Prison Galleries, the Treviso Sotterranea Association, the Giuseppe Mazzotti Foundation, and many others.
This event represents the largest opportunity at the European level to learn about, appreciate, and safeguard cultural heritage through exclusive visits to historical and artistic assets of the city and the extraordinary opening of places of worship and buildings that house treasures often inaccessible to the public. The aim is to stimulate active participation, promote the safeguarding of our artistic and historical riches, and convey their value to new generations.
The program is truly rich and involves cultural sites in Treviso that can be visited through guided tours or independently. In addition to numerous guided tours, there are also concerts curated by the Diocesan Institute of Sacred Music and the Simon Benotton Museum.
Most of the visits are free of charge or with a symbolic payment of €1.
