The Giro d'Italia 2026 confirms itself as one of the most anticipated events in the international cycling scene, offering a route rich in challenges and breathtaking landscapes.
The passage of the Giro d'Italia in Valdobbiadene is a special moment for the entire community, which will have the opportunity to closely witness one of the most followed and beloved sporting events.
The location will indeed be crossed by the 18th stage, scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026, starting from Fai della Paganella and finishing in Pieve di Soligo, totaling approximately 168 km and over 2000 meters of elevation gain.
This is a challenging and spectacular stage, characterized by continuous ups and downs: after connecting the Adige valley with the Brenta valley via the climb of Civezzano, the route continues towards the Piave valley, crossing areas of great landscape value.
Right after the passage through Valdobbiadene, the riders will face a series of short but demanding climbs – including Combai, Tarzo, and especially the famous Muro di Ca' del Poggio, located just a few kilometers from the finish, often decisive for the outcome of the stage.
The finale, slightly downhill but technical, with tight curves and a final straight that gently climbs, promises great spectacle and possible surprises right up to the last meters.
