Wednesday, June 3, 2026 the grand event of the Giro d’Italia Women will cross Cortina d’Ampezzo, transforming the Queen of the Dolomites into one of the most iconic stages of the international pink race .
The 5th stage, from Longarone to Santo Stefano di Cadore, will take the best athletes from around the world along a spectacular route of about 146 km through the Dolomitic passes, legendary climbs, and breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage views. The group will enter the Ampezzo area in the early afternoon, providing the audience with a day full of emotions, adrenaline, and great sports in the heart of the Dolomites.
The cyclists will face some of the most picturesque sections of the entire competition, traversing unique and iconic landscapes such as the Tre Croci Pass and the Sant’Antonio Pass, in a stage made even more spectacular by the four Mountain Grand Prizes scheduled along the route.
