Guido Damini presents a veritable theatrical match that condenses the entire history of the world into a 90-minute game, creating a hilarious and engaging experience.
The first half opens with ‘Vaccocracy’, which explores the alliance between man and cow – a curious partnership made possible solely by women’s obsession with cute little calves, without which we would never have managed to domesticate the first animals or develop the first civilisations with a capital ‘C’.
This is followed by ‘The Age of the Bros’, or the Bronze Age, characterised by the rise of males to power and their obsession with the wheel and war chariots. The second half explores the much-maligned Middle Ages, or the ‘Fra’ era, where the tranquillity of monasteries and their friars reigns supreme.
A tranquillity that would only be interrupted during the Renaissance, ‘The Age of S.P.A.’: the Colonial Empires.
The match concludes with a penalty shoot-out: the latest scandalous events in the news, just to remind us that history is far from over.
