In a decade when all of Italy, along with the industrious and economically recovering Veneto, rediscovered the joy of living, carefreeness, and the desire for modernity following the arduous trials of the post-war era, Castelfranco Veneto also looked to the future, racing forward on the two wheels that symbolize rebirth and coming alive in its places of social gathering.
It starts at 9:00 a.m. with the grand Vespa Club gathering, a rightful tribute to the quintessential Italian myth that has powered and united entire generations. Anticipation builds until 11:00 a.m., when the food stands will open with traditional flavors and handcrafted wooden games will come to life, designed to entertain the little ones in a genuinely shared outdoor atmosphere.
Throughout the entire day, visitors can admire up close the magnificent Vespas and the fabulous vintage vehicles that have made history in national mobility, carried away by the overwhelming rhythm of DJ Big D "the mechanic of swing."
And when the sun begins to set, starting at 6:00 p.m., the stage will light up with the anticipated live music of Lord Henry & The Swing Gang, ready to get the audience dancing to the beats of rock’n’roll and boogie-woogie.
