Immerse yourself in the magic of the Middle Ages with the 34th edition of “Maggio in Gemola,” the captivating historical reenactment dedicated to Beatrice I d'Este! The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 3 and 10, 2026, at the picturesque Villa Beatrice d'Este, set among the enchanting landscapes of the Euganean Hills, in Valle San Giorgio di Baone (PD).
Two unique days will take you back in time, featuring elegant ladies, valiant knights, craftsmen, and ancient trades. A true journey into the Este court, recognized among the Historical Events of Local Interest in Veneto, capable of uniting culture, tradition, and spectacle.
Stroll through medieval stalls, discover the secrets of ancient workshops, get involved in games and activities for all ages, and visit the Museum of the Euganei housed in the villa. There will also be moments of in-depth exploration dedicated to the figure of Beatrice, to fully experience the history and spirituality of the place.
On May 3, start the day with a meditative hike to Monte Gemola, followed by reenactments and the Holy Mass. On May 10, be enchanted by the grand historical parade “Beatrice with the Este Court”, featuring musicians, jesters, and captivating final rituals.
