There are wishes that remain hidden in the heart and others that, when shared, can become part of something greater. MirAlbero – Hearts and Wishes is an invitation to pause, create, feel emotions, and leave a mark destined to last over time.
On Tuesday August 11, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Civic Library of Cortina d'Ampezzo opens its doors to an experience that combines creativity, imagination, and participation. Together with the animation of Albicocca and the artistic workshop of Mirabilinto, everyone will decorate a heart on which to place a wish, a dream, a hope, or a special thought.
Each heart will be interwoven with the ribbons of MirAlbero, creating a collective installation that will continue to grow in the following weeks thanks to contributions from residents and visitors. A living work, made of authentic emotions, capable of telling the most beautiful face of a community: one that knows how to share, welcome, and imagine the future.
Because every great story begins with a small gesture. And every wish, when it finds the courage to be expressed, can take root.
