Palazzo Soranzo Novello opens its doors to Portofranco, a large contemporary art exhibition that brings together 23 Italian and international artists in an intense dialogue with the historic spaces of the palace, places rich in memory and beauty.
Curated by Rossella Farinotti and promoted by the Municipality of Castelfranco Veneto in collaboration with NOT Titled YET, the exhibition marks the birth of a new cultural project designed to transform Palazzo Soranzo Novello into a crossroads of creativity, dialogue, and contemporary visions.
Among the artists on display are Vincenzo Agnetti, Maurizio Cattelan, Goldschmied & Chiari, Duane Hanson, Silvia Mariotti, Sacha Kanah, Raoul Schultz, and many others: their works, many of which are site-specific, intertwine different languages from painting to sculpture, from performance to video in direct confrontation with the historical and architectural identity of the place.
Portofranco is not just an exhibition, but a living and participatory cultural ecosystem, involving institutions, schools, businesses, and the community through a rich calendar of talks, performances, workshops, and artistic residencies.
