From June 5 to July 25, the new edition of Sile Jazz – Altri Argini transforms the provinces of Treviso and Venice into a large dispersed theater, where music extends beyond traditional boundaries through 20 concerts in completely unusual locations.
The adventure begins where you least expect it: a hidden clearing in the woods houses a secret concert, while historic villas, old hydroelectric plants, parks, and even the spaces of a nursing home light up with improvised notes. Along the banks, resident musicians capture the soul and sounds of the cities, intertwining them into original productions that culminate in an evocative musical cruise, suspended between the waters of the lagoon at sunset.
Under the artistic direction of Alessandro Fedrigo for nusica.org, the festival weaves a fabric of contemporary European jazz, boldly moving between writing, experimentation, and electronics.
It is a sonic journey that respects the land that hosts it, affirming itself in the national circuit Jazz Takes The Green for its strong ecological commitment. An invitation to follow the current and be surprised by music that breaks the banks.
