When the sun sets over the Dolomites, the sky transforms into an extraordinary spectacle. On Saturday, August 8 at 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 22 and 29, and September 12 and 26 at 8:30 p.m., the Helmut Ullrich Astronomical Observatory in Col Druscié, located at 1,800 meters above sea level above Cortina d'Ampezzo, opens its doors for an exclusive evening visit dedicated to the discovery of the universe.
Away from light pollution and immersed in one of the most fascinating views of the UNESCO Dolomites, you will be able to observe through a modern telescope the Moon, stars, planets, nebulae, and other spectacular deep sky objects, accompanied by experts from the Cortina Astronomical Association, who will guide the audience on a fascinating journey through science, myths, and curiosities of the cosmos.
