New edition of Unlocked, the autumn review of Casa Shakespeare hosted at the Teatro Satiro OFF.
In this fifth edition, the program of performances centers around a theme that embraces the entire edition: Under the Surface.
A review of contemporary theater featuring the winners of the Rome Fringe Festival, the presence of women on the Day Against Violence Towards Women, and a quirky noir outside the Christmas program.
The review begins on October 18 with the long-standing poetic vision, a steadfast presence in figure theater and in dramaturgy in its most irregular forms, of Alessandro Libertini, produced in collaboration with one of the most prominent Venetian realities – namely TIB Teatro di Belluno – and on stage with “The Triangular Key”.
On November 8 the Teatro Satiro Off hosts one of the winning shows of the Roma Fringe Festival 2025: TANTO ORMAI first prize for best direction 2025. An important anticipation, a performance that will once again address the theme of conflict under the surface, conflicts that then explode and reveal themselves in their powerful unruliness, in whatever way they initially present themselves.
On the occasion of the International Day Against Gender Violence, on November 29, the artistic collective Noctua presents the show "Inventory for the Heretical Body"; a glimpse into a space free from judgment, where five friends allow themselves to be fragile, funny, disorganized, disheveled, far from the idea of beauty, intelligence, or perfection.
The month of December kicks off on the 6th with the performance "In Two Hands": debuting in Verona, a contemporary reinterpretation of the quintessential conflict in the Bible, that between Cain and Abel. Another unmissable event marks the conclusion of the review, with the restaging of the trilogy “The Snow of William“ and the complete résumé of the work at the conclusion.
Events at Casa Shakespeare are sponsored by the Municipality of Verona, the Province of Verona, and the Veneto Region.
