"Vicenza Open Tour" is a series of 4 Sunday walks created as part of the project “Social and Inclusive Tourism in Veneto” ULSS 8 Berica.
It is a guided tourist visit developed to enhance the historical and artistic richness of the historic center along urban routes that are entirely pedestrian and free of architectural barriers.
The uniqueness of this route lies in its innovative conducting formula: you will be accompanied by the expertise of a Licensed Tour Guide, alongside Storyteller Filippo, a young narrator on the autism spectrum, who will enrich the journey and the storytelling of the monuments with his personal and engaging narrative interventions.
The route is planned at a slow pace to be fully accessible to visitors with motor, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.
A new, dynamic, and participatory way to experience cultural heritage, open to all citizens and tourists.
The walks take place regularly even in bad weather, taking advantage of the numerous porticos in the historic center that ensure a largely sheltered route!
The activity is free with mandatory reservation, meeting point at the IAT Office in Piazza Matteotti, 12 (Vicenza).
