What can you find at an Educational Farm? A mosaic of crops and colours that changes with the seasons, small and large animals, and competent and passionate people who know the land well and offer a warm welcome.
Each educational farm in Veneto has its own identity: this comes from the crops and/or farms that characterise it, from the territory in which it is located and from the educational itinerary that the farm has chosen to offer. Uniting them all is the Quality Charter, which guarantees safety, health and hygiene standards, competence of operators, quality of hospitality, and robust educational projects.
The Farms open their doors to schools — from kindergarten to university — with activities that focus on "learning by doing" and help children develop autonomy, curiosity and practical skills. They also welcome children and young people for extracurricular sessions with afternoons on the farm, after-school activities, farm-based birthdays and nature breaks in the summer. And there is no shortage of proposals for families, groups of adults, and tourists, involved in intergenerational experiences and itineraries of active discovery of the rural world.
The Educational Farms represent a set of signs of nature and traces left by past generations, which make the landscape of the Venetian countryside alive and inhabited.
