The Jazz season 2025/26 at the Teatro Ristori features artists from around the world, who will take the stage from October 2025 to May 2026.
The first appointment is Thursday, November 14 with a concert paying tribute to the genius of Ryūichi Sakamoto: Danilo Rea, together with Martux_m, blends piano and electronics, between melody, improvisation, and experimentation, in a continuous search for new sound horizons.
In December, the Teatro Ristori transforms into a Jazz Club for three consecutive Sundays – 7, 14, and 21 – featuring the young Cutello Bros 5tet, the Special Edition of the quartet of Max Ionata with an international rhythm section, and the Trio of Dado Moroni in tribute to Oscar Peterson: limited seating, immersive atmosphere, and great jazz.
For the first concert of the new year, the legendary Cameroonian bassist, performer, and producer Richard Bona takes the stage on February 7, presenting a new musical journey between the overwhelming rhythms of Afrobeat and Caribbean and Latin American melodies.
The Steve Gadd Organ trio brings on stage a “journey of inspiration” to Bulgaria on March 14, to showcase Bulgarian folk jazz music in relation to other currents of jazz.
On the occasion of International Jazz Day, on April 30, 2026, Eddie Henderson, a jazz legend between trumpet and flugelhorn, arrives at the Teatro Ristori, performing with the Piero Odorici Group in a tribute to Miles Davis. A look at his extraordinary career between music, medicine, and iconic collaborations.
The festival will close on May 13 with the intense and contemporary sounds of Aaron Parks, who blends jazz, improvisation, and post-genre sounds.
A season designed to celebrate music in its most lively and shared form, where each concert will be a unique experience to live and remember.
All concerts start at 8:30 PM, except for the concerts included in the Ristori Jazz Club, which start at 6:00 PM.
