The exhibition ''Armando Buso 1914-1975 - Fifty works for Fifty years'' is a retrospective exhibition that aims to reconstruct an individual artistic history and, by reflection, a collective one, returning a precise historical and temporal context of Opitergino through fifty works selected, many of which are unpublished.
This is not an exhibition designed by thematic chapters or technical sections but a continuous exhibition path, conceived according to an evolutionary logic: the selected works sequentially attest to the progress of a story, documenting human relationships, daily interactions, casual encounters, and identifying urban spaces, rural areas, ultimately involving, outside of Oderzo, some cities and distant places.
The exhibition, celebrating Armando Buso through drawings, paintings, linoleum engravings, also aims to celebrate the places of existential roots, the people who were close to him and supportive, recovering a context and a social climate.
The exhibition event is wanted, conceived, and curated by Giuliana, daughter of Armando Buso, in collaboration with the Fondazione Oderzo Cultura, under the patronage of the City of Oderzo, on the fiftieth anniversary of the artist's death.
