250 Km, 12 consecutive days of walking:
Walking from Cortina to Milan. Wandering through ancient paths is a large performative action where artists and the public walk the distance that separates Cortina and Milan, from December 5 to 16.
A community walk open to everyone that will involve artists, companies, local associations, cultural realities of the territory, national networks; a project realized with the collaboration of 10 municipalities and over 20 entities from the third sector operating in culture and social services.
It is a participatory project that combines the foot crossing of the mountain landscapes of the Alps and Prealps with theatrical and dance performances, book presentations, film and documentary screenings, community lunches and dinners, meetings and discussions.
The project combines walking, performing arts, and convivial moments to create a collective reflection, a composite narrative of a territory on the fringes of the major international event that will be the Winter Olympics.
The walk, which traverses the natural landscape of Veneto, the Autonomous Province of Trento, and Lombardy, includes a show, a film screening, or a book presentation with discussion and debate featuring a special guest, every day different, plus a community lunch or dinner at each stage.
December 5 - Cortina. 3:00 PM - Departure of the walk & interview with councilor Roberta De Zanna. The walk will end in Milan on December 16
