The ski season starts in one of the most spectacular areas of the Dolomite Superski.
On December 13th, snow permitting, Funvie Marmolada opens for a new and exciting winter season. A modern lift divided into three sections that in just a few minutes leads to the 3265-metre altitude of Punta Rocca, from where the 'La Bellunese' slope starts, which with its 12 km and 1810 metres of altitude difference is the longest and most exciting slope in the entire Dolomiti Superski area.
Malga Ciapela is the gateway to the Arabba-Marmolada Ski Area, which boasts 62 kilometres of slopes and 27 lifts. From here it is possible to ski two of the most evocative ski tours in the Dolomites: the Sellaronda and the Great War Tour.
