The Steffani Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto restarts with the concert season: seven evenings dedicated to music in the wonderful setting of the Teatro Accademico.
The first appointment will be on Friday, January 23, with the Cello and Piano Duo, curated by Damiano Scarpa and Alessandro Taverna.
Two events will enrich the calendar in February: on Friday 6, TOVEL, Dan Azzopardi, and Jean-Damien Juille will delight the audience with an electronic live set from TOVEL's album Gravity; on Thursday 19, it will be the turn of The Smile and the Wound, an incredible string concert accompanied by the piano of Filippo Faes, featuring music by P.I. Tschaikovsky and D. Shostakovich.
On Friday, March 27, it will be the turn of The Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Alessio Allegrini, who will guide the artists through the music of A. Dvorak, U. Giordano, and P. Mascagni. There will also be a double appointment in April: on Thursday 9, the stage will feature violins, viola, cello, and piano performing Ludus in Fabula. A special evening on Thursday 23, when Inedito Castellano - Epilogue for Giusto Pio will be staged: the Clarinet Ensemble will be accompanied by the accordion of Simone Zanchini, Roberto Scalabrin will be on clarinet and reciting voice, all directed by Maestro Ivan Villanova.
The season closes with The Country Philosopher (May 7), during which the Singing Department of the Conservatory will perform under the direction of Maestro Roberto Zarpellon, with the direction of Marco Bellussi.
