The Artica is a Cycling Tour for Vintage Bikes that winds through the roads and trails of the Berici Hills (Vicenza).
Enthusiasm, passion, enchanting routes, and delicious treats at the rest stops are the elements that have led to its success. Born with the intent to celebrate the true roots of Cycling, it has then found its identity in enhancing the local territory and the eno-gastronomic sector, which knows no rivals! It is not a competition, but a ride with steel bicycles where it is impossible not to be captivated by the landscapes and flavors that unfold along the way.
Remaining strongly rooted to the territory and the people who live there, the spirit of “L’Artica” has infected enthusiasts from all over Italy, capturing even European attention.
L’Artica features 2 routes that cross the rural plains of the Vicenza province and the wonderful park of the Berici Hills:
Short Route (25 km): flat route suitable for all types of cyclists and all types of bicycles as long as they are vintage;
Classic Route (55 km): the true Arctic route in the Berici hills, with about 500 meters of elevation gain, offers magnificent winter landscapes.
