As usual, Asolo Matinée celebrates Carnival with an event dedicated primarily - but not only - to children. This year, it takes place in the broader context of the second Asolo Mask Festival, in collaboration with the Duse Academy.
Singer Anna Farronato, with Teresa Storer on violin and Simone Miotto on piano, will entertain us with some of the most beloved songs from Walt Disney films, and the musical performance will be animated by improvised masked scenes from the students of the Academy.
We suggest that children come dressed in costumes, perhaps with references to Disney characters.
At the end of the show, as every year, we will offer fritters and other sweets.
On the same day, from 3:00 PM onwards, there will be a roaming show through the streets of Asolo titled "The Loves of the Comedians," curated by the students of the Duse Academy, directed by Alessio Nardin.
Entrance is by voluntary donation.
