The API & PRATI event returns for its eighth edition on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in the beautiful setting of Prato della Valle in Padua, for the entire day. The event is organized by the Patavini Beekeepers Association A.P.A. Pad. and Veneto a Tavola, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Padua.
The event program includes the exhibition “Mieli d’Italia” with over 100 varieties of honey from every region, complete with descriptive cards, the exhibition “The Life of Bees” featuring a series of panels to learn about the extraordinary life of bees, workshops for children with the distribution of a packet of nectar flower seeds, tastings of local honeys and other single-varietal honeys.
At the Association's booth, expert beekeepers from A.P.A. Pad. will be available to guide you in discovering the beekeeping world and the value of hive products. Some Padua beekeepers will set up a market called “Bontà & Benessere” where honeys and derived products will be offered, along with other operators providing food products, herbalists, health products, and crafts.
The event aims to increase awareness and appreciation for the properties of honey for our nutrition and health, as well as the importance of bees in the pollination of plants.
