February is the month of Carnival and in March spring returns: these are two months rich in color and the guided tours organized by the IAT Treviso city office follow the mood.
The itineraries therefore follow the “color” of Treviso, in many aspects: from the vitality of the historic center, where citizens love to stroll and where in the tradition of taverns the joy of conviviality “between one shadow and another” has been expressed at its best for centuries. Let’s not forget that Treviso was called the “capital of the joyful and loving Marca.” But the color of Treviso is particularly expressed through the numerous painted facades of the buildings, or in the frescoes under the porticos, for which it is historically known as the painted city.
