New at home Winter Flowers, the food and wine exhibition that celebrates the "edible flower": the IGP Red Radicchio from Treviso and the IGP Variegated Radicchio from Castelfranco.
The Pro Loco of Vedelago makes its entrance into the exhibition with this event for a two-day showcase and tasting.
It begins on Saturday, March 7 at Villa Corner, with a delicious dinner featuring, needless to say!, IGP Red Radicchio from Treviso.
The celebration continues on Sunday, March 8 in Piazza Martiri della Libertà: in addition to the market exhibition of Radicchio and local products, there will be the official inauguration together with the White Hands Choir of Veneto, directed by Professor Chiara Cattapan. The Piazza will be enhanced by an exhibition of tools for sowing and harvesting radicchio.
A special appointment at 12:00 with Wellness at the Table, the show cooking led by Chef Guerino of Tomato & Basil and in collaboration with Dr. Giorgia A. Arina, Food Consultant.
In the afternoon, don't miss the live demonstration of the radicchio processing stages; for the little ones, there will be fun and face painting.
The Sunday evening will conclude with food and wine delights based on Radicchio, organized by the Pro Loco.
Don't miss it!
