From late January to April 2026 the Teatro Ristori offers, as part of its dance season, a rich and stimulating program consisting of five unique events featuring brilliant names from the world of dance on the Veronese stage.
The season opens on January 28 with the show Sacre du printemps.
The Dewell Company presents an ongoing metamorphosis between life and death, a hymn to nature, set to the primal music of Igor Stravinsky.
The second appointment is on February 11 with “People used to die / Mahalaga Landscape”, an energetic pop work about urban rituals that blend into a journey between rebellion and roots.
On March 5 “The Death and the Maiden” takes the stage, a performance where three extraordinary performers challenge the diligent fate, supported by the notes of Schubert.
The program continues on March 31 with the junior dance company Area Jeune Ballet from Geneva (Switzerland) performing three different works: "Another Day", "Connection" and "We will never give up on love". Three works, three languages, a single artistic experience that explores the essence of being human through highly impactful contemporary choreographic languages. An invitation to be overwhelmed by the emotion and universal power of dance.
The season closes on April 17 with the company of the Opéra de Avignon and the show “Olympiade”, a world premiere production reflecting on our relationship with time, blending dance, identity, and space. A choreography on the athletics track explores new temporal and collective trajectories, between memory and future.
All shows start at 8:30 PM.
