In the heart of the Euganean Hills, one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of spring returns: the Festa dei Bisi di Baone, scheduled from May 15 to 19, 2026. For five days, the village of Baone celebrates its symbolic product, the Biso di Baone, a soft and sweet pea grown for centuries in the volcanic soils of the area.
During the festival, the town comes alive with food stands, markets, music, and family-friendly initiatives. The absolute protagonist is, of course, the local cuisine: from the traditional “risi e bisi” to the farmers' specialties prepared with local ingredients, accompanied by the wines of the Euganean Hills.
