The presence of the Supreme Poet in Verona during his years of exile has left many traces and has made Verona, in every sense, a city dedicated to Dante.
Dantedì is celebrated on March 25, the date on which scholars identify the beginning of the journey into the afterlife in the Divine Comedy.
The Civic Museums of Verona and the Libraries of the Municipality of Verona preserve within their heritage numerous artistic and bibliographic testimonies related to the great poet and his works.
This year a unique schedule of events is proposed.
The schedule of events is co-organized by the Civic Museums of Verona and the Libraries of the Municipality of Verona, together with APS - Scaliger Center for Dante Studies, the Department of Cultures and Civilizations - University of Verona and Aribandus Social Cooperative Onlus.
