The cultural operators of the IAT will accompany you to discover this ancient residence which, although historic, is still inhabited.
We would like to emphasize that both the outdoor and indoor spaces that will be visited are not museum areas, but places of everyday life for the family that still lives there today.
An opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life of the Bolzonella today and imagine that of the Bolzonella of the past.
The visit itinerary:
After admiring the wide courtyard overlooking the Villa, a cultural operator will guide the visitors to exclusively discover some internal rooms.
Starting from the Entrance Hall, we will delve into the fascinating Bird Lounge, with its curious collection of small nineteenth-century paintings.
We will continue the visit in the elegant Dining Room, one of the largest in Veneto, enriched by characteristic English-style furniture.
On the first floor, we will find the spacious Ballroom, with walls adorned with portraits of the ancient Cittadella Vigodarzere family.
We will proceed by exploring the outdoor spaces, starting with the Oratory dedicated to the Holy Trinity, now a chapel-mausoleum where the family's ancestors rest.
The visit will conclude with a pleasant walk in the large garden designed by Giuseppe Jappelli, embraced by the fishpond and adorned with beautiful rose parterres, hornbeam avenues, and numerous centuries-old plants.
