Descrizione breve
A perfect opportunity to rediscover the Lemene River not only as a natural element but as a true thread connecting history, landscape, and identity.
Descrizione lunga

A slow and fascinating journey along the shores of the Lemene River, where nature and history intertwine to create an authentic and engaging experience. This guided land tour takes visitors to discover one of the most picturesque stretches of the area, between Portovecchio di Portogruaro and the regions of Boldara and Cintello, places where water has always shaped the landscape and the life of the communities.

The protagonists of the excursion are the ancient mills, like the famous “Mulin Grando,” once the beating heart of the local economy, set in a natural context that was once characterized by marshy areas rich in biodiversity. Next to these testimonies of rural archaeology stands the refined Villa Bombarda, an elegant Venetian residence from the 17th century, symbolizing a past in which the river represented a vital resource for agricultural and commercial development.

The route winds along the Lemene following slow rhythms, ideal for appreciating every detail of the river landscape: the sound of the water, the riparian vegetation, and the glimpses of countryside create a relaxing and regenerating atmosphere. During the two-hour visit, participants will immerse themselves in stories and curiosities that highlight the deep connection between man and the river, discovering how these waters have influenced architecture, economy, and local traditions.

Departure is scheduled from Via Gervino 21 in Portovecchio di Portogruaro, a privileged access point to this charming itinerary. With a duration of about two hours and an affordable cost of 15 euros, the experience is aimed at those who wish to experience slow and sustainable tourism, capable of enhancing the river and cultural heritage of the area.
