The Silk Workshop Museum was established as part of the recovery of the former workshop of the Villa dei Cedri, once the productive heart of the historical local silk activity.
The idea is to enhance the industrial memory related to silk, intertwining history, technology, and territory.
The new museum will enhance both the territorial and the social aspects, serving as a classroom for historical and environmental education also for schools.

From the 18th-century Bolognese mills, to silkworm farming in peasant homes and work in the silk mill. From the conquest of American markets by the Piva family, to a glimpse of the contemporary Venetian silk landscape.
 

The museum is open to visitors during the following hours:

• From February 28 to March 28: Saturday, Sunday 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM / 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• From April 11 to May 3: Tuesday-Friday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM / 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
