On Sunday, April 19, the Regional Day of River Tourism returns to Veneto, an opportunity to explore the most beautiful corners of the region through numerous initiatives along navigable canals, adventurous rivers, and unspoiled lagoons.
Of course, activities along the Sacred River of the Homeland, the Piave, could not be missing: in Falzè di Piave, in the municipality of Sernaglia della Battaglia, the Free Water Association of Mirano offers "Soft Rafting on the Piave just a step away from the Prosecco Hills". Participants can experience rafting with a guided inflatable boat descent suitable for everyone, amidst natural landscapes and Prosecco hills. A simple and fun way to experience the river.
The departure is from Passo Barca, once a port of passage and ferry for transporting precious timber from the mountains to Venice and from Montello to the opposite shore, and for this reason, it was the hub of economic and commercial activity in the territory of Sernaglia.
The experience, lasting 3 hours and available at 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM, is aimed at families and is accessible to individuals with disabilities. A swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes are required.
Participation is paid and by reservation only.
