Descrizione breve
The excellence of Chamber Music between Conegliano and Follina.
Descrizione lunga

The International Chamber Music Festival "Rencontres Musicales" transforms the territory of Conegliano into a center of artistic and educational excellence with a global reach. Born from an idea of the Artistic Director M° Paolo Tagliamento, the event is shaped as a true musical workshop where great masters and young international talents collaborate and engage.

The program culminates with three exceptionally significant appointments. On Friday, May 1st at 8:45 PM, the Teatro Accademia in Conegliano hosts a concert featuring Ana Chumachenco, Wen-Sinn Yang, Zohrab Tadevosyan, Mamikon Nakhapetov, Anna Mirakyan, Massimo Scattolin, and Mohamed Hiber. The event is ticketed, with tickets available exclusively for online pre-sale, and the proceeds will be donated to the Emma Onlus Association for scientific research.

On Saturday, May 2nd at 8:30 PM, the festival moves to the picturesque Abbey of Santa Maria a Follina for a free-entry performance with Mon-Fu Lee and Laura Szabo. Finally, on Sunday, May 3rd at 4:00 PM, the Festival concludes at the former Convent of San Francesco in Conegliano with Alfredo Zamarra, David Martín Gutiérrez, and Raquel de Benito Forriol. This last event is also free to enter and is preceded by the official farewell from the authorities, marking the closure of the festival.

In the days leading up to the major evening events, starting from April 28th, the festival offers moments of high educational value open to the public. At the former Convent of San Francesco, specialist seminars in violin and cello are held, led by renowned teachers such as Zohrab Tadevosyan, Wen-Sinn Yang, and Ana Chumachenco. These sessions are complemented by rehearsals of the musicians open to spectators and students from music-oriented schools, allowing them to closely witness the preparation process of the pieces.
