The Verona Theatre Festival returns to fill the Roman Theatre with great Italian and international music.
As part of the ‘Musical Fusions’ programme, Daniele Silvestri will perform on the evocative stage of the Roman Theatre in a concert that forms part of the new live project ‘Canzoni a sdraio’.
The show will feature the Roman singer-songwriter taking centre stage in a live performance ranging from his greatest classics to new experimental pieces, accompanied by a trio.
Silvestri alternates between piano and guitars, leading a trio rich in nuance. He is joined by Davide Bavarese (drums and percussion) and Marco Santoro (bassoon and trumpet).
An intimate and unexpected tour, where the repertoire is transformed through arrangements that play on fusion and expressive freedom.
The songs move between different atmospheres, changing their character, following a musical flow that never seeks predictability.
Daniele Silvestri’s style combines the pursuit of a new singer-songwriter sound with mainstream appeal, as evidenced by songs such as ‘Cohiba’, ‘Il mio nemico’, ‘L’appello’, ‘Quali alibi’, ‘A bocca chiusa’ and ‘Argentovivo’, alongside evergreens such as ‘Le cose in comune’, ‘Occhi da Orientale’, ‘Testardo’, ‘Salirò’ and ‘La Paranza’, to name but a few.
