Giuseppe Giacobazzi returns to his roots, to the Osteria where virtually it all began.
The Teatro Filarmonico is transformed into the Osteria Giacobazzi: a hotbed of stories and anecdotes that has shaped the comedian’s storytelling style.
The show is different every evening; the programme features a mix of interviews, classic and new monologues, experimental segments, stories based on the performer’s own life experiences, performances by guest artists and a few surprises.
A few tavern-style tables host ‘everyday characters’, chosen at random from the audience that very evening, and a couple of guests who have popped in to see the host.
The show is an explosive mix, a unique and unrepeatable event every evening.
Giuseppe Giacobazzi is the stage name of Andrea Sasdelli, an Italian actor and stand-up comedian known for his performances characterised by his Romagna accent and flamboyant attire.
He made his debut as a radio presenter in the role of ‘Signor Giuseppe’: a semi-illiterate farmer from Romagna who dabbles in writing poetry. He remained on the radio until 1992, before moving to the stage.
His debut on national television came in 2004, and since then he has starred in numerous programmes: from the sitcom *Tisana Bum Bum* to *Zelig Off*, via *Zelig Circus*, eventually joining the cast of comedians on *Zelig*.
