The National Museum Collezione Salce in Treviso continues its homage to Renato Casaro and, at the San Gaetano location, organizes the fourth monographic thematic exhibition dedicated to the Maestro.
After the exhibitions dedicated to comedy, westerns, fantasy, and science fiction, the new exhibition addresses one of the most visionary genres that marked his production: the horror. The exhibition is the first arranged after his passing and has been curated with the valuable contribution of the artist's wife.
From May 16 to November 4, 2026, original sketches, preparatory drawings, and study materials that document Casaro's creative process are on display, highlighting the famous collaborations with the masters of Horror, starting with the works created for Dario Argento. The works narrate how he manages to synthesize suspense and terror into a single image, making iconic the films that have marked the history of the genre.
The exhibition is open from Friday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
