An undisputed master of the theatre and a renowned Oscar-winning composer of film scores have created a short, previously unperformed comedy in which Eduardo tackles one of his most recurring themes with irony and bitterness: the family and the illusions that hold it together. With irony and bitterness, he explores the contradictions of society and religious institutions.
Through paradoxical situations, the work highlights human hypocrisy and fragility, blending comedy with moral reflection, in a dialogue between spoken word and orchestra: voices and music intertwine to become a single emotional experience, embodying all the poetic and human power of Eduardo’s work, transforming the narrative into an intense and evocative journey, where sound amplifies the meaning of words and theatre becomes concert.
