Blue Brass feat. Dean Bowman

The Sile Jazz review continues on Saturday, June 27 at 9:00 p.m. with the concert of Blue Brass and Dean Bowman.

Founded in 1986 by Austrian trombonist Paul Zauner, Blue Brass is a project that encompasses spiritual, blues, swing, funk, and contemporary jazz, drawing inspiration from the Afro-American jazz tradition. Over the years, the ensemble has included musicians connected to Lester Bowie's Brass Fantasy and the World Saxophone Quartet, developing a language that combines orchestral energy, improvisation, and Afro-American roots. 

The highlight of the concert will be the voice of Dean Bowman, a key figure in gospel, soul, rhythm and blues, and jazz, accompanied by musicians from the European and American scenes.
