The traditional cultural review of Verona returns for its thirteenth edition, conceived and organized every spring by the Cultural Association IDEM - Paths of Relationship.
This edition, titled "The Symbolic", features a carefully selected lineup of personalities from the worlds of art, cinema, music, philosophy, and literature who will present lectures and unpublished theatrical monologues, national premieres, and concerts on the stages of various exceptional locations (the Roman Theatre in Verona, as well as several dates outside the city hosted in highly evocative settings that express the uniqueness of our history, art, and culture).
The first Verona date of the review is on September 24 with Donato Carrisi, followed by Alessandro Bergonzoni, Stefania Andreoli, Arianna Porcelli Safonov, Umberto Galimberti, and Massimo Recalcati.
Alcide Marchioro, the artistic director, comments with these words on the theme of the review: “Close encounters of every kind with the figures that dominate the imagination: the symbols. Intrusive, fascinating, peremptory, changeable, they represent the horizon of meaning in which we move, that is what we are: aspirations and feelings of guilt, thoughts, and even more intimately desires, euphoria, obsessions. And all around the symbol of symbols: beauty.
