From June 27 to November 6, Castelfranco Veneto transforms into an exceptional stage to host the exhibition Bruno Catalano meets Giorgione.
The monumental bronze sculptures of the Franco-Italian artist Bruno Catalano, renowned worldwide as The Travelers, integrate into the city’s perimeter, entering into an extraordinary artistic and conceptual resonance with the spiritual legacy and suspended atmosphere of Giorgione.
Catalano's works are characterized by their unmistakable stylistic signature: bodies traversed by surprising voids, fragmented figures that advance carrying a suitcase.
This baggage becomes a metaphor for human existence: a container of memories, experiences, rips, and desires, constantly stretched toward an unknown future.
Inserted into the urban context, the sculptures create a poetic interplay between fullness and emptiness, gravity and lightness, ideally conversing with the mystery and deep sensitivity of Giorgione's works.
