Barchessa di Villa Alberghetti

Set in the rural landscape of Veneto, the Barchessa di Villa Alberghetti represents a precious testimony to agricultural life and local history. Inhabited by the Frezza family until 1972 and the beating heart of farming activities until the 1980s, the structure has undergone decades of transformations while preserving the authentic charm of rural architecture.

After a period of gradual decay that culminated in the late 1990s, the barchessa underwent significant restoration thanks to the PNRR funds. The work, initiated in 2023 and completed in 2025, has restored safety and new life to the building, making it accessible to the public once again.

On the ground floor are the cellar, kitchen, chicken coop, and ancient barn; on the upper floor are the granary, hayloft, and spaces once designated for bedrooms. Special attention has been given to accessibility, with solutions that allow even people with disabilities to experience the blend of tradition, culture, and rural identity of Veneto.
