Marghera reaffirms its status as a strategic hub for cultural and entertainment offerings on the Venetian mainland. This year’s programme features a packed calendar of events ranging from live music to film screenings, with a particular focus on the regeneration of urban spaces and social interaction.
Marghera Estate (1–18 July)
12 evenings of live music
Food area and children’s zone
From 1 to 18 July, the Arena in Piazza Mercato will once again become the heart of live music on the Venetian mainland thanks to the latest edition of Marghera Estate. Twelve events featuring renowned singer-songwriters, legendary tribute bands, tributes to international rock and cultural insights, culminating in the highly anticipated concert by Tony Hadley.
All concerts start at 9.00 pm and are free to attend, with the exception of the special international event featuring Tony Hadley, for which tickets are available on TicketOne.
The venue will feature food and drink stalls and a children’s play area.
Cinema Sotto le Stelle (25 July – 31 August)
Open-air screenings
From 25 July to 31 August, again at the Piazza Mercato Arena, Marghera Estate will continue with Cinema Under the Stars, in collaboration with Making Movie: a month of open-air screenings to revisit or discover the films that thrilled audiences in cinemas over the winter, alongside great classics to be rediscovered on the big screen.
