Castelfranco Veneto Jazz Festival, twelfth edition.
Descrizione lunga

Castelfranco has music in its veins.

The summer evenings in the shade of the Castle will resonate with the greatest international Jazz sounds for the XII edition of the Castelfranco Veneto Jazz Festival. A rich lineup of unmissable appointments in various prestigious city venues, intertwining concerts by world stars, masterclasses, special events, and the vibrant energy of young talents.

This new edition will be inaugurated by the unmissable afternoon event dedicated to the centenary of Miles Davis, followed by an exclusive special evening event at the Teatro Accademico: the "First Meeting" with the stellar quartet composed of Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chris Potter, Larry Grenadier, and Eric Harland.

The festival will then come alive in the following days with the notes of Yakir Arbib in "Piano solo" and the sound of Gianluca Carollo & J&J Organ Trio (with the participation of numerous special guests) in the beautiful setting of Villa Barbarella. The squares and churchyards will then light up with the overwhelming Mauro Ottolini and Orchestra Ottovolante together with Chiara Luppi, and the refined geometries of the Fabrizio Bosso Quartet, closing in beauty with the extraordinary voice of Maria Pia De Vito in "Buarqueana".

The highly anticipated return of Le Notti Blu, which will transform the venues and streets of the historic center into a widespread stage, enriched by the live radio broadcast from Radio Cafè in Piazza Guidolin, will not be missed.

To strengthen the unbreakable bond between music and the city, every evening starting at 10:00 p.m. the gardens of Villa Barbarella will host the Jazz, Art & Food formula: a multisensory experience that combines fiery Jam Sessions organized by the students of the Jazz Department of the Conservatorio Agostino Steffani, the pictorial journey and live painting by Walter Marin and the Food & Drinks offerings in collaboration with Bistrò San Giustino.

The festival will finally be completed with the traditional Masterclass & Conversations and the Saturday afternoon concert by the Conservatorio Steffani.
