Descrizione lunga

On the 140th anniversary of its founding, the Luigi Bailo Museum presents a commemorative and celebratory exhibition dedicated to Nino Springolo (1886-1975), a leading artist of the Twentieth Century in Veneto.

Developed around a hundred works, the exhibition aims to celebrate the connection between memory, identity, and artistic heritage through the evolution of the artist's pictorial language, always distinguished by a strong identity link with the Treviso territory of origin.

On display, there is not only Nino Springolo, but also "the two companions." The quote from the novel by Giovanni Comisso introduces the exhibition itinerary, which also includes rooms dedicated to the relationship with two other important artists: Gino Rossi and Arturo Martini. Both their works from the Civic Museums of Treviso and from other collections, mainly private, are on display.

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
