Valeggio sul Mincio offers for the evening of Saturday, August 8 “The Village of Wishes,” a magical experience, in the enchanting setting of the Scaliger Castle, a historic symbol of the town as well as a viewpoint from which to admire the beautiful surrounding area.
The towers of the fortress will be open to the public, exceptionally, starting at 9:00 p.m., on the occasion of the approach of Saint Lawrence's Night, allowing guests to admire the sky up close, searching for shooting stars.
The initiative ideally unites the most beautiful villages in Italy, an association of which Valeggio sul Mincio is a part, which proposes an event capable of combining history, charm, and romance in one of the most iconic places in the village.
The evening will be enriched by a refined musical accompaniment: the ensemble “Galizzi and Friends” will present an engaging repertoire that intertwines classical harmonies, swing, and pop. The concert is part of the International Music Festival of Veneto.
Finally, guests will be able to write their wishes on a note, leaving it in the designated collection area, and toast with a glass of wine under the starry sky.
